It competes against the Samsung Galaxy M31 and its predecessor Note 8 Pro. In terms of design, it is definitely the best looking mid-range phone with a glass body and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Similarly, you get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8nm chipset that yields a balanced performance and thermal efficiency. Although the Redmi Note 8 Pro with its Helio G90T offers better performance, the Note 9 Pro has better thermals and battery efficiency - thanks to the 8nm architecture of the Snapdragon 720G. The Redmi Note 9 Pro also offers a big 5020mAh battery and a punch-hole display. There's a 48MP quad-camera setup on the rear and a 16MP selfie snapper. It runs on the latest Android 10 with MIUI 11.
