GadgetByte Nepali · 6 years ago

Hello everyone, we’ve had some time with the newly launched Samsung Galaxy S20 and S20+ and here are our initial impressions and early review with the phones. The Samsung Galaxy S20 and S20+ are available for pre-booking in Nepal. 🔹 More about Pre-Booking offers – http://bit.ly/2wUWH7u 🔹 Pre-book here – http://bit.ly/2T1p3oY 🔹 Samsung Galaxy S20 Price in Nepal: 1,07,499 🔹 Samsung Galaxy S20+ Price in Nepal: 1,19,499 The Galaxy S20 and S20 Plus are launching in Nepal very soon. Both these are the latest flagship offerings from the company. About the specs of the phone, the S20 has a 6.2- inches display while the S20+ has a 6.7-inches display. Both these displays are QHD+ in resolution and have a 120Hz refresh rate. But you don’t have the option to use the display at 120Hz when putting in QHD resolution, it's only supported in FHD resolution. Now, the design of these phones is Glass at the back with Gorilla Glass 6 protection and the side frames are made of Aluminum. The design as you would expect is very good. Both phones feel premium while being incredibly lightweight as well. As it is with every Samsung Flagship phone, you get IP67 Water and Dust rating, fast wireless charging, reverse charging, etc. These phones are powered by Exynos 990 (which is the version that comes in Nepal) and with the powerful chipset at the helm, the performance is very good. You get 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage supporting the performance. Likewise, these phones come with Android 10 out of the box with OneUI 2.1 on top. Cameras are something that has seen a lot of improvement in the S20 series of smartphones. The Samsung Galaxy S20 has a triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 12MP, f/1.8 primary shooter, 12MP, f/2.2 ultra-wide sensor, and a 64MP, f/2.0 telephoto lens that supports up to 30 times hybrid zoom. At the front, there is a 10MP camera. The S20+ has a similar setup like the S20 with one additional TOF sensor at the rear. This time the sensor is different and has a bigger pixel- size as well. The images on our test look good but we haven’t had much time with it to give you a final conclusion. As for the battery, you get a 4,000 mAh battery on the Galaxy S20 while the S20+ has a 4,500 mAh battery. Both these phones support 25-watt fast charging and as it is with Samsung, you get the charger inside the box. As of now, we are yet to test the devices properly, so for the full review, stay tuned to Gadgetbyte Nepali.
