Dell XPS 13 (7390) Review: 6-cores Ultrabook Beast

This is our review of the Dell XPS 13 7390 (late 2019 edition). It is the first XPS 13 to come with 6-core CPU. The one with i5 CPU has quad cores, whereas the i7 has 6-cores. Since both of them have 15W TDP, don’t expect it to do the power-hungry tasks. The integrated GPU is also entry-level; hence gaming is a no go. However, light photoshop and video editing are easily handled. That being said, the Dell XPS 13 7390 is one of the best Ultrabooks to buy in Nepal right now. It’s light-weight, robots, and premium. The top has an aluminum build, while the inside has a carbon fiber. The display is edge-to-edge with very minimum bezels. The XPS 13 7390 is only available in the non-touch FullHD version. It has an aspect ratio of 16:9. While you get a trendier 16:10 aspect ratio in the 2020 XPS 13 edition. The top bezel of the display houses a web-cam, however, it lacks an IR sensor. But you do get a fingerprint scanner which is fast and accurate. Memory-wise, you get 8GB RAM and 256GB of NVME storage. The 52Wh battery gave me good battery life with around 8 hours of Screen On Time. Overall, if you are looking for a premium 13-inch ultrabook, the Dell XPS 13 is the way to go.
