GadgetByte Nepali · 6 years ago
Hello everyone, prior to the unboxing, we’ve had our hands on the ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo for a good number of days now and here is our full review in Nepali. First, get to know a little more about where to get it from and how much is the Price of ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo in Nepal. Buy ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo: 🙏Nepal: http://bit.ly/37DCekc ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo Price in Nepal: NRS: 3,55,000 First, of all let’s get started with the display. This display is undoubtedly the best display we have seen in a laptop. It is a 15.6- inches 4K OLED panel and the secondary display is a matte IPS panel. The display is HDR compatible and has 100% DCIP3 color gamut coverage. Both the displays come with touch support. However, the secondary display lacks the length of a 4k display, so we think it might not be true 4k after all. ASUS calls the second display Screen Pad Plus. So the main question remains, how productive is the dual display? Well, after using it for so many days, we think that this magnificent hardware could have been accompanied with solid software. We have minor complaints with the display such as, if you put your laptop to sleep with tabs open in your second screen, they shift to the top when you turn it back on. And Adobe suite applications could have been better optimized or smoother operation. In fact, we think ASUS could have collaborated with Adobe to make the experience exclusive and better. Having said that, the dual-display opens doors for many possibilities like you can take up the entire primary screen for photo editing or video editing and keep the tools on the secondary screen. Multitasking is much more effective with dual screens. Also, you can multitask in the second screen itself, by opening three tabs at once. Okay now, let’s get to the design. The entire design of it is made mostly of Aluminum and weighs 2.5kgs. The device is very sturdy and well built. The laptop has an inclined design for better heat dissipation. About the ports selection on the device, you get the DC power-in, a standard HDMI 2.0, and a USB 3.1 Gen 2 port, while there’s one Thunderbolt 3 USB-C, an audio jack, and another USB 3.1 Gen 2 port on the other side. So as you know, there is no LAN connection, and more importantly no dedicated SD card reader. In terms of wireless connectivity though, the ZenBook Pro Duo comes with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0. About the performance of the device, it is handled by the Intel- Core i9-9980HK processor. On to the graphics, you get the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 with 6GB of GDDR6 VRAM. The unit I reviewed has 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD, ut you can choose other variants as well. I tested the device with many AAA games like Battlefield V, Apex Legends, and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Battlefield ran at around 35 to 40fps under 4K resolution in Ultra settings while it went to 60fps when lowering the resolution to 1080p. Similarly, Apex Legends gave around 30 to 35fps in Ultra settings at 4K resolution and about 90 to 100 fps at 1080p. The trackpad of the ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo is fine too, it is made of glass and the buttons are clicky and responsive too. About the battery, it has a big 8-cell 71Wh battery whose battery life lies between 3-5 hours during normal usage with the secondary display’s brightness et to 50%. On the charging front, the power adapter is big and heavy too, which takes about 2 hours to go from 0 to 100.
